Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Middletown, NY location. This role supports store operations, customer service, and team development, including opening/closing duties, merchandise handling, and loss prevention.

You will train and supervise Store Associates, enforce safety policies, and maintain a clean, well-organized store environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, store management experience, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
