Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

The role involves assisting with opening/closing, merchandizing, and executing corporate directives to maintain a busy, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail management experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail store management experience is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Support merchandise organization from delivery to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional material.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect assets and cash; ensure security procedures.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; ensure safety and respectful environment.
• Ensure store cleanliness and restocking bathrooms, etc.
