Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform standing, walking, bending, and repetitive lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive, approachable manner
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Supervise and develop Store Associates
• Maintain store cleanliness and appearance
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties
• Protect company assets and follow safety policies

Education
