Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Marietta, GA seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales results and a Customer Experience aligned with brand standards.

You will supervise front-end and service operations, coach team members, manage POS and Self-Checkout, and support omnichannel initiatives like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery. This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and a focus on asset protection and loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, sustaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in the Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
