Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to prepare donated goods, tag, price, and stock shelves, supporting daily production goals.

You will work 25 hours weekly with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and receive paid training and access to benefit options. Join a mission-driven team committed to serving the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math and computer skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $[13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 25 hours per week. Flexible scheduling required, Monday - Saturday days, evenings, weekends

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You'll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
