Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Greenwood, IN is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, keep the store organized, and help meet daily production goals. You will track production numbers, move processed merchandise to the sales floor, and provide friendly service to donors.

• Must be able to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Previous retail or thrift store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.

• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.

Location: Greenwood, IN
Pay: $13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 25 hours per week. Flexible scheduling required, Monday - Saturday days, evenings, weekends

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
