The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Indianapolis is looking for a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price, and process donated goods while keeping the store organized and helping meet production goals.

You’ll receive paid training and ongoing coaching, with opportunities to build retail and customer service skills. Benefits include paid vacation, sick time, holidays prorated, and access to pension and 403(b) plans.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May cross train in another department

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 25 hours per week. Flexible scheduling required. Monday - Saturday days, evenings, and weekends

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You\'ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department
