The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 3+ years in retail grocery with increasing responsibility, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail grocery with increasing responsibility.
• 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in retail.
• Proficient computer skills (email, spreadsheets).
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Store Director and ensure departments are staffed, trained, and efficient.
• Monitor financial aspects of purchasing, stocking, selling, payroll, and expenses.
• Maintain store facilities, equipment, sanitation, safety, and appearance.
• Communicate and execute corporate plans across departments.
• Regularly inspect areas and give feedback to managers.
• Review reports, take action, and communicate findings.
• Engage in budgeting, staffing, facility maintenance, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with SpartanNash personnel and train others.
• Manage selection, scheduling, and supervision of staff.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly department and knowledge of products.
