Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Sparks, NV is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, service, and policy compliance, and lead staff in absence of the Store Manager. You will help ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

• Safety and welfare of employees and customers are a primary responsibility.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience with service training and leadership.
• Handle POS transactions and adhere to policy for sales, discounts and refunds.
• Inventory control including shipping/receiving, pricing, markdowns and physical counts.
• Merchandising and visual presentation per company standards.
• Payroll control including scheduling and time/attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports and adherence to training tools.
• Loss prevention practices and protection of company assets.
• Manage day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
