Job summary

Goodwill in Carthage, MO seeks a Store Manager with strong customer service and supervisory experience to oversee daily operations and achieve sales targets. You will lead a team, manage merchandising and displays, handle deposits, and ensure safe, friendly service. Training of trainees may be involved.

The role is full-time with benefits; prior experience in retail management and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience, preferably in retail apparel management.
• Two years supervisory experience and merchandising skills.
• Must have insured vehicle to be used for store-related travel.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid resident driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be eligible for a positive outcome on a resident state background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing all phases of the operation of the store.
• Develop and implement plans to meet daily sales goals.
• Supervise employees and act as manager on duty in absence of senior staff.
• Ensure friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction.
• Assist with training and supervising client/trainees.
• Maintain inventory control and loss prevention.
• Perform cash handling, deposits, and relieve after-hours emergencies.
• Open/close the store and ensure safety policies are followed.
