The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a preference for candidates with retail management experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and events.
• Opens and closes the store; ensures staffing.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability, and shrink.
• Reviews ordering plans and inventory management to meet in-stock targets.
• Stores merchandise with proper fixtures, signage, and pricing.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and cash control.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized store.
• Follows policies and completes paperwork.
• Ensures equipment is available.
