Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory management.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
