Job summary

Family Dollar in Shelby, NC is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, supervise associates, assist customers, and drive sales growth. You will oversee daily activities, train staff, protect assets, and ensure compliance with company policies.

You will build relationships with the community, implement merchandising directions from corporate, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (55 lbs. occasionally).
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push/pull and lift repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Lead, train, and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth.
