Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager in Kentucky to lead store operations, staffing, training, and performance. You will oversee cash handling, inventory, merchandising, and customer service while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive sales and maintain an orderly, secure store environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensure store is staffed.
Provides training; conducts evaluations; identifies gaps for coaching or termination.
Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
Maintains staffing and opening/closing routines; opens/closes as required.
Evaluates sales, profitability, and inventory turn; controls expenses.
Orders to meet in-stock targets; reviews weekly planning and stock issues.
Stocking, display, and pricing to company standards.
Maintains accurate inventory and cash accountability.
Delivers superior customer service leadership.
Keeps store clean, safe, and well organized.
