Job summary

Responsibilities include recruiting and evaluating staff, enforcing policies, and ensuring safety and security in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong leadership and compliance with labor laws are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Know cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Operate IBM cash register to generate reports.
• Understand inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Recruit, interview, hire, counsel and terminate with compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training and evaluate performance; address gaps and counseling up to termination.
• Recommend pay rates and advancement; communicate expectations regularly.
• Maintain security, cash control and safety standards; manage cash accountability.
• Open and close the store on schedule; ensure proper daily operations.
