Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures manuals.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including deposits and cashier accountability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and Company policies; ensure staff.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels when needed.
• Reviews pay rate and advancement recommendations.
• Maintains safety, security, and company policies; conducts meetings.
• Ensures store opening/closing and adequate staffing.
• Analyzes operating statements for sales, profitability, and trends.
• Manages ordering and inventory control, and reviews BSR/cycle counts.
• Ensures proper merchandising, pricing, and signage.
• Keeps accurate inventory, controls damages and shrink.
• Maintains cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership.
• Keeps store clean, organized, safe for staff and customers.
