Job summary

POP MART in Riverside, CA is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, deliver premium customer experiences, and drive financial performance. You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, manage visuals, inventory, and daily operations, and ensure brand standards are consistently executed.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, proven KPI management, and a passion for collectibles and pop culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience leading high-volume, customer-focused retail stores.
• Proven success managing sales performance, operational execution, and team development.
• Experience leading teams of 10+ employees, including coaching and developing leaders.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to use business metrics to drive performance.
• Experience executing visual merchandising standards and marketing initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Appreciation of designer toys, collectibles, art, pop culture, or lifestyle brands is highly valued.
• Experience collaborating with international or cross-functional teams is a plus.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Leadership & Talent Development: recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and store associates; foster a positive customer-first culture; conduct coaching and reviews; set clear expectations and recognize achievements.
• Drive Business & Sales Performance: own store financials, KPIs (sales, conversion, UPT, ATV, payroll productivity, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction); analyze trends and act on insights; lead product launches and promotions.
• Enhance Customer Experience: create engaging, welcoming store environment; ensure knowledgeable product recommendations and strong customer interactions; act as brand ambassador for POP MART.
• Oversee Store Operations: daily operations ownership, policy compliance, safety and loss prevention; manage scheduling, payroll, cash handling, inventory, shipments, replenishment, stockroom.
• Visual Merchandising & Brand Execution: implement visual merchandising strategies, campaigns, displays, and floor sets; collaborate on new initiatives and store updates.
• Brand & Community: support events, pop-ups, openings, and community engagement; collaboration with Robo Shop teams; travel up to 10% for openings and meetings.
• Travel & Availability: flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods; occasional collaboration with international teams.
