Job summary

POP MART is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager in Sacramento, CA. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, drive sales, and ensure an outstanding customer experience aligned with POP MART’s premium brand.

You will oversee daily operations, inventory, merchandising, and events while acting as Manager on Duty when needed. The role requires 2+ years in retail leadership and a passion for art toys and pop culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and business performance metrics.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture is highly valued.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business metrics and implement action plans that drive results.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
• Comfortable working independently while making sound business decisions.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Brand Associates and Sales Leads to drive performance.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve sales goals and KPIs (sales, conversion, UPT, ATV).
• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing, cash handling, safety, and compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by guiding the sales floor leadership.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and visual standards per POP MART guidelines.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
