Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Training (MASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across key departments and leadership skills through a comprehensive training program, mentorship, and formal development opportunities.

Throughout the program, MASM-IT will collaborate with the Store Manager, ASMs, and merchandising teams to plan merchandise placement, drive sales, ensure product availability, and prepare to assume responsibilities as an Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typical of a retail leadership track.
• HS diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred for progression.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store departments and assist in execution of key programs.
• Support customer service, product availability and store presentation.
• Learn Manager on Duty duties and assist with staffing and scheduling.
