Job summary

The Home Depot in Idaho is offering a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Training (MASM-IT) program. The MASM-IT will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, receive mentorship, and participate in a comprehensive leadership development track.

During a training period of up to 6 weeks, MASMs in Training will learn to oversee merchandising operations, support sales objectives, and develop plans for departmental success while upholding company policies and serving customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma and/or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support customer experience by supervising associates and driving service excellence.
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing duties and adherence to SOPs.
• Help ensure safety compliance and proper hazmat procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, stock integrity, and product availability across departments.
• Participate in a structured training program to prepare for an Assistant Manager role.
