Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Training (MASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across Garden, Hardware, Lumber, Building Materials, Plumbing and Electrical departments. You will work with Store Manager and ASMs to develop strategies that boost sales and ensure strong store presentation.

During the up-to-6-week training, MASMs in Training will learn to lead by example, supervise associates, manage daily store operations and uphold company policies while

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates in the selling effort and drive customer service and associate engagement.
• Perform Opening, Closing MOD and other store-wide responsibilities.
• Ensure safety and hazmat procedures are followed.
• Plan merchandise placement, signing and inventory management.
• Participate in a structured training program for store management and leadership development.
