Job summary

The Home Depot is recruiting for a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Training (MASM-IT). This six-week program blends hands-on learning with mentorship to build future store leaders across Garden, Hardware, Lumber, Building Materials, Plumbing, and Electrical departments.

During MASM-IT, you will work with the Store Manager and ASMs, learn to manage daily operations, staffing, and customer service, and develop strategies to boost sales and inventory accuracy while upholding company

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Structured training program leading to Assistant Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customer experience and drive service quality.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and uphold SOPs.
• Ensure safety compliance and hazmat procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, stock integrity, and inventory management.
• Participate in a formal training program covering store operations and leadership.
