Job summary

The State of New Hampshire Liquor Commission is seeking a Retail Store Manager I for the Claremont, NH area. This full-time role requires supervisory duties, strong customer service, and effective store operations management to maximize profits and ensure policy compliance.

Minimum qualifications include an equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after high school and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and builds a loyal customer base.
• Supervises store personnel up to Retail Salesperson III level and assists with daily operations.
• Opens/closes the store, sets up merchandising displays, and handles deposits and inventory.
• Trains and guides staff in the operation of state liquor stores.
• Keeps accurate stock levels and anticipates item needs for sales.
• Calculates transactions and processes bank deposits.
• Interprets computer printouts and makes recommendations to the Store Manager.
• Represents the store when needed and may travel to other stores.
