State of New Hampshire is seeking a Retail Store Manager I for the West Lebanon area to supervise daily operations of a NH Liquor Outlet Store and to ensure exceptional customer service while maximizing profits in compliance with NH Liquor Commission policies.

The position requires effectively managing staff, handling cash deposits, and maintaining inventory in a retail setting with a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends. Experience in public contact and cash handling is preferred.

Qualificações

• Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to continuously lift material up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting of cases weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend hours.

Responsabilidades

• Provides exceptional customer service by building a loyal customer base and enhancing NH Liquor Commission and State of NH reputations.
• Acts as a store manager in a low volume retail environment and supervises store personnel up to Retail Salesperson III level.
• In large volume store, works under supervision with daily store operations including opening/closing, merchandising displays, deposits and inventory.
• Provides routine training and guidance to store employees on operations.
• Accounts for stock and maintains inventory levels, anticipating sale items as needed.
• Calculates sales transactions and prepares bank deposits.
• Reviews computer print outs and makes recommendations to Store Manager.
• Supervises and guides store personnel in duties.
• Serves as Retail Salesperson when not assisting Store Manager.
• Supervises all employees and may fill in for higher-level Store Manager.
• May travel to other stores as needed.
