Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations, including financial performance, staff development, merchandising, customer service, mission integration, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

This leadership role is responsible for achieving revenue, expense, and profit goals while creating a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of retail sales experience.
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to supervise and train staff in a busy store.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, financial performance, staff development, merchandising, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and safety standards.
• Lead revenue, expense, and profit goals while maintaining a safe, productive environment.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to employees to achieve objectives.
• Maintain store cleanliness, signage, inventory rotation, and pricing standards.
• Develop annual budgets and submit reports, including required documentation.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
