Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to support the store's daily operations, drive sales, maintain safe and organized spaces, and mentor staff. The role emphasizes customer service, mission alignment, and efficient merchandising.

The position is part-time, hourly, and requires flexibility including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and leadership development are provided within a mission-driven nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale and donation systems.
• Supervise and train employees in production, merchandising, and customer service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and follow safety procedures.
• Assist in achieving store sales, expenses, and merchandising goals.
• Educate customers and donors about Goodwill programs and mission services.
• Sort, price, and display merchandise following guidelines.
• Prepare reports and assist with loss prevention compliance.
• Support store maintenance and administrative tasks.
• Lead staff through meetings and trainings to improve performance.
