Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Management Trainee to learn day-to-day operations and leadership responsibilities in a retail setting.

You will work with store leadership to develop skills in customer service, inventory, and performance coaching while handling a variety of merchandise, including jewelry and electronics. Training and development are emphasized throughout the program.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
