Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Store Management Trainee in San Antonio, TX. Earn $16.50–$22.81 per hour plus commission and performance bonuses as you learn store operations and build leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will develop skills in customer service, inventory management, coaching, and team development while supporting sales, loans, and profitability goals across merchandise categories, including jewelry, electronics, and tools.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with diverse merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store with proper cash handling and asset protection.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn to analyze business results and support operational decisions.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
