Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a Manager in Training at their Rocky Mount location. This entry-level management role involves fully managing the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Candidates should have at least 2 years of retail experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include driving sales, assisting with operational goals, and ensuring compliance with merchandising standards. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
• Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability.
• Assist Store Manager with communicating the store’s operational goals.
• Monitor and evaluate individual performance metrics.
• Manage the store’s staff as necessary.
• Ensure compliance of operational standards and promotions.
• Assist in maintaining merchandise presentation.
