Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team invites strong leaders to join the Manager in Training program. As an MIT, you will gain hands-on leadership training, handle customer service excellence, and build operational expertise under the Store Manager’s guidance.

Within 8-12 weeks, you could progress into management openings, subject to performance and availability. Full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a retail manager or supervisor
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, overtime
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team and deliver WOW customer service
• Manage staffing, mentoring, and training employees to develop a strong team
• Oversee inventory accuracy, store merchandising, and sales strategies
• Analyze monthly P&L statements to optimize store profitability
• Support store operations, ensure compliance with policies and structured training processes
• Drive customer service leadership and proactive issue resolution
• Develop and execute operating procedures to ensure smooth store performance
• Provide hands-on leadership training to prepare for store management openings
