Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is opening a brand-new store in Byron Center, Michigan, and hiring for Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager positions. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, merchandising, and people development.

Interviews begin mid-March with a path from AIT to management. These roles involve training Teammates, recruiting, and leading by example in customer service, operations, and visual merchandising to deliver an exceptional guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related retail experience.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate Teammates in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of merchandising, guest service and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Lead by example with showmanship and a high level of customer focus.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; conduct interviews as needed.
• Manage visual merchandising, store presentation and seasonal displays.
• Oversee store operations, POS procedures, loss prevention and safety.
• Coach Teammates to achieve sales goals and deliver Buckle’s guest experience.
