Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager in our Taylor, MI store. This role supports the Store Manager with sales, merchandising, and daily operations to create the best shopping experience for guests.

The AIT path leads to higher leadership responsibilities, with duties spanning guest service, training, recruiting, and driving sales while maintaining store standards and appearance.

Qualifications

• Strong guest-service orientation and ability to deliver legendary service.
• Proven leadership and the ability to train and motivate teammates.
• Solid sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Experience with merchandising, loss prevention and store operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across store leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions about store and merchandise and help locate items.
• Lead by example in sales and customer service and drive KPIs.
• Recruit, train, and develop Teammates and act as Store Manager when needed.
• Assist in visual merchandising, operations, and loss-prevention tasks.
