Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Store Manager in Michigan to lead day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage scheduling, training, safety, and store integrity while coordinating with suppliers and maintaining financial controls.

The role requires strong leadership, communication skills and a focus on profit through effective merchandising and cost management. This is a full-time position based on site operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff per CSR/ASM job descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage site functions.
• Ability to use computer for reports, inventory, and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive employees to ensure customer service.
• Develop and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked and well kept.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees within guidelines to maximize service.
• Apply non-discriminatory management, training and counseling practices.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Ensure store safety and public image in the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback.
• Train staff on safety procedures and company standards.
• Communicate effectively and hold regular meetings with staff.
• Organize files, supervise reports, and ensure inventory and pricing accuracy.
• Oversee budget, P&L and merchandise margins; safeguard cash handling.
• Monitor work conditions and maintain indoor/outdoor site operations.
