Job summary

Circle K is seeking a proactive Site Manager for the Great Lakes region store in Michigan to lead operations, staff, and standards. The role emphasizes customer service, scheduling, inventory, and financial oversight to ensure a clean, well-stocked site that reflects company standards.

The ideal candidate will drive training, safety, supplier relations and community image while maintaining efficient reporting and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment and procedures.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in CSR/ASM job descriptions.
• Ability to use computer for reports, inventory and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to maintain a clean, stocked site per standards.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring and training.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Promote safe image within the community and oversee training on safety.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff.
• Train employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards.
• Conduct timely communications with staff and Market Manager.
• Organize site files, manage reports, ensure pricing and display accuracy.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.
• Budget and forecast P&L lines and manage margins.
• Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
