Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits control.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and policies.
• Provides training, conducts evaluations, and counsels staff as needed.
• Manage pay rate recommendations and advancement decisions.
• Communicates performance and safety expectations; conducts meetings.
• Ensure proper staffing and store opening/closing routines.
• Analyze operating statements for trends and shrinkage.
• Oversee stock and ordering alignments with store targets.
• Oversee merchandising and pricing presentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash control integrity.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and paperwork deadlines.
