Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations to ensure excellent customer service and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include managing ordering, inventory, merchandising, and financial controls while driving sales and profitability. A high school diploma and retail management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory practices.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, counsel and terminate in accordance with policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees in accordance with laws and Company policies.
• Provides training and conducts performance evaluations; addresses performance gaps.
• Monitors staffing, schedules, and ensures proper store opening/closing.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability and inventory trends.
• Manages ordering, stock replenishment, and signage to maximize presentation.
