Job summary

The position requires supervising employees, driving sales, and maintaining a safe, compliant store. A high school diploma and retail management experience are preferred, with strong leadership and communication skills a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, counsel and terminate following legal and internal processes.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensures store is properly staffed.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels when needed.
• Monitors staffing, payroll, and scheduling to meet store demands.
• Maintains cash control and ensures the financial integrity of the store.
• Manages opening/closing duties and ensures safe, clean store conditions.
