Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to lead daily store operations, coach team members, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will oversee scheduling, training, and compliance while delivering strong sales performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, loss prevention, and execution of merchandising standards. This position reports to the Store Manager and requires a proactive, guest-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS Training Programs, set goals, and follow up.
• Administer disciplinary steps, including verbal and written warnings in the manager's absence.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, protect inventory and funds.
• Open/close the store and manage cash handling and bank deposits.
• Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising per guidelines.
• Support inventory counts and provide coverage during peak periods.
