Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop associates, oversee merchandising and inventory, and ensure safe, engaging shopping environments.

Qualifications

2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and customer service.
Proficiency with MS Office, POS systems, and inventory software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with varied hours.
Must meet federal requirements for Federal Firearms License (FFL) where applicable.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations with the Store Manager, driving sales and inventory accuracy.
Coach and develop associates to build a high-performing team.
Deliver exceptional customer service and support promotions and loyalty programs.
Support safety, compliance, and loss prevention initiatives.
