Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop associates, and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze business performance and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Drive sales, monitor performance, manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, and store standards.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of associates.
• Coach staff on customer service, engagement, and sales-driving behaviors.
• Promote safety, compliance, and asset protection; support loss prevention initiatives.
