Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, oversee merchandising and inventory, and create a safe, engaging shopping environment.

The Assistant Store Manager will coach and develop associates, support recruiting, and lead with Rural King's values of People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure operational excellence.
• Coach and develop associates; conduct performance evaluations and trainings.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and loss prevention; implement scheduling and labor planning.
