Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing and development. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience in an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to achieve sales goals and maintain customer experience.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain staffing levels by supporting recruiting and retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment; enforce loss prevention.
• Support merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
