Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, sales performance, and team development. You will help hire, onboard, and coach associates while maintaining high standards for customer experience and loss prevention.

The role emphasizes staffing, merchandising execution, and ongoing leadership support to drive store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, sales goals, and customer experience.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain safe, organized store environment and ensure policies are followed.
