Job summary

Goodwill Industries in Bartlesville, OK is seeking an experienced store manager to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional shopping environment. You will support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager I in all duties to run the store efficiently and safely.

The role emphasizes achieving daily sales goals, supervising staff, merchandising, customer service, and loss prevention. You will also handle opening/closing, reporting, and training while promoting inclusive employment.

Qualifications

• Must have two years customer service experience, preferably in retail apparel management.
• Must have two years supervisory experience and merchandising skills. Must have insured vehicle to be used for store-related travel.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid resident driver’s license, with a good driving record.
• Must be eligible for positive outcome on required resident state criminal conviction background check.
• Must maintain appropriate requirements for legal vehicle operation including current automobile insurance and license plates.
• Must maintain compliance with Goodwill’s Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy.
• Goodwill considers this a safety sensitive position because it includes tasks or duties that Goodwill reasonably believes could affect the safety and health of the employee or others.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing plans to meet daily sales goals and increase sales per transaction and per square foot.
• Supervises employees with senior management and acts as manager on duty when absent.
• Ensures friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction.
• Manages store layout, merchandising and space allocation per plan.
• Supports training and supervises client/trainees as directed by management.
• Performs opening/closing duties and cash handling as required.
• Maintains safety, security, and compliance with policies.
