Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Store Manager in Broken Arrow, OK to assist the Store Manager and lead daily operations with a focus on customer service and merchandising.

The role requires two years supervisory experience, merchandising skills, a valid driver's license and vehicle, and the ability to meet daily sales goals while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies. This is a full-time management position with per-hour compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience, preferably in retail apparel management.
• Two years supervisory experience and merchandising skills.
• Must have insured vehicle to be used for store-related travel.
• Must have home or cell phone.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid resident driver's license, with a good driving record.
• Must be eligible for positive outcome on required resident state criminal conviction background check.
• Must maintain appropriate requirements for legal vehicle operation including current automobile insurance and license plates.
• Must maintain compliance with Goodwill's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to meet daily sales goals and to increase the average sale per transaction and sales per square foot in assigned store.
• Supervise merchandising, displays, and space allocation according to merchandising plan.
• Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager I.
• Ensure friendly, courteous customer service and respond to management requests.
• Train and supervise clients/trainees assigned to the store as directed by the store manager.
• Verify quantity, quality and value of merchandise received; evaluate pricing per guidelines.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Control inventory and reduce losses; prevent shrinkage under supervision.
• Maintain security of cash and store receipts; handle deposits as authorized.
• Attend in-service training including First Aid/CPR and perform related duties.
