Job summary

Kohl's in Omaha is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the entire store team, drive customer experience, merchandising excellence and operational execution. You will coach and develop associates to deliver excellent service, merchandising expertise and consistent operational execution.

You will be accountable for the overall results and success of key performance measures with a primary goal of driving sales and profitability.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Experience supervising 20 or more associates and making employment decisions.
Great verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Strong people management skills and talent development capability.
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Guide profitable sales and meet store financial plans through strategic leadership.
Achieve payroll plan by scheduling and labor cost management.
Recruit and hire store personnel including management roles.
Manage associate relations and performance management.
Oversee training for new hires on Kohl's culture and selling practices.
Coach and develop associates; create succession plans.
Ensure inventory accuracy and proper pricing/signage.
Prevent loss and ensure policy compliance with Loss Prevention.
Maintain merchandising standards and compelling product presentation.
Direct floor replenishment and ensure superior customer service.
