Job summary

Gopuff seeks a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive top-line sales, and inspire a team including an Assistant Manager and department heads. You will analyze market trends and historical data to develop strategies that boost productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staffing, merchandising, budgeting, coaching, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining a welcoming environment and strong community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in retail store management.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent organizer and problem-solving abilities with strong project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assumes overall responsibility for the store.
• Greet and assist customers, respond to inquiries and needs.
• Drive sales, manage cash handling, inventory, and customer follow-up.
• Maintain leadership presence and ensure exceptional service.
• Ensure store and associate appearance meet company standards.
• Plan and adjust schedules to maximize sales.
• Review payroll to maintain appropriate staffing.
• Coordinate merchandising directions and promotions in a timely manner.
• Coach team with feedback and development plans.
• Use company tools to diagnose opportunities and create action plans.
• Train staff in customer service, merchandise and operations.
• Assess staff performance with feedback and appraisals.
• Forecast/reforecast business focusing on productivity to meet sales goals.
• Enforce all policies including health, safety, and security.
• Manage store expenses to budget and identify contribution opportunities.
• Control shrink and optimize inventory.
