Job summary

Goodwill NCW in Menasha, WI seeks an experienced retail leader to oversee daily store operations, guide a team, and ensure exceptional donor-to-customer experiences. You will supervise hiring, onboarding, training, performance coaching, and succession planning to build a high-performing staff while supporting regionally set goals.

You will manage scheduling, payroll, safety, compliance, and store presentation, while driving sales and targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills with multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Experience with reporting and dashboard tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the donation door to store floor process and ensures a customer-centric experience.
• Leads store operations including talent management: hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and development.
• Supports achievement of sales and production forecasts; contributes to financial and operational goals.
• Maintains SOPs for store presentation, organization, layout, safety, and compliance.
• Manages change with planning, communication, and coaching; maintains regular presence in-store.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, conducts audits, and promotes safe practices.
• Executes marketing, advertising, and community outreach strategies; builds mission awareness.
• Oversees scheduling, opening/closing, production efficiency, cleanliness, safety, and performance metrics.
• Leads hiring and training to build a high-performing team with cross-training.
