Job summary

Cosmo Prof in California seeks an Assistant Manager to hire, train and lead store associates, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and adherence to brand standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, KPI achievement, omnichannel fulfillment, scheduling, and inventory control while developing a positive, diverse team.

This role requires strong communication, coaching skills and a proactive approach to daily operations and store safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, development and leadership of store associates to deliver an exceptional client experience and drive loyalty.
• Develop strategies and plans to achieve KPIs and financial targets through analysis and planning.
• Support Store Manager in all areas and cover duties when the Store Manager is not present.
• Ensure execution of company processes and omni-channel strategies, including SFS/SDD/BOPIS.
• Maintain store safety, inventory control and adherence to policies while coordinating scheduling and payroll.
