Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. is seeking a store associate with 1–2 years of retail experience to deliver exceptional customer experiences in our Albertville, AL location.

You will drive sales, meet KPIs, and help manage daily store operations while upholding PUMA's brand values. You will work with the Store Manager on recruiting and training, schedules with payroll control, merchandise handling, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service-focused retail environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals.
• Demonstrated ability to reason through complex issues.
• Ability to present information to large groups.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Computer skills including MS Office and retail software.
• Physical ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of customer experience within the Store.
• Achieve or exceed sales, KPIs and profitability goals through planning, scheduling and service.
• Assist Store Manager with recruitment, training, development and succession of high-performing employees.
• Payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain profitability.
• Manage and communicate merchandise opportunities to Store leadership.
• Achieve inventory and shrink goals; manage physical counts.
• Handle and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Comply with Policies, procedures and core competencies.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and compliant working/shopping environment.
• Work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings, holidays.
